About Jain University Bangalore
Jain University is located in the Silicon Valley of India, Bangalore. Established in the year 1990 as the Sri Bhagwan Mahaveer Jain College, the university gained the status of a deemed-to-be-university in 2009. The university has a total of seven campuses, while the main campus is located in Bangalore, spread across 298 acres. The university is ranked 95th under the engineering category of NIRF 2024 while in the overall category, it ranks in the rank band of 101-150. The university is approved by AICTE for its 45+ engineering courses. Jain University is accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA) for Computer Science and Engineering, Information Science and Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Electronics and Communications Engineering. Let me tell you the eligibility criteria of BBA here in LPU pass with 50% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with English) or equivalent. For a candidate, who has not studied English as a subject, the condition of English may be waived off provided the candidate in his qualifying exam has studied in English medium. (5% relaxation to North-East states and Sikkim candidates or Defence Personnel and their Dependents or Wards of Kashmiri Migrants)

We should not compare the two, both the universities are good at their place. But as a student of LPU I would like to say LPU is much better. How can I say? Because my few friends are studying in CU. So, I already have the point of view of both the universities. Ranking, education, placement, technology and infrastructure in every aspect LPU is better.
Ranking: If I talk about ranking so LPU comes under top 100 amongst all private and government university. This year what shook me the most is the recent ranking by the worlds university ranking again amongst all government and private university.
Placement: Placement is second most important factor what applicant can see in university/collage while taking admission. So, in lovely professional university from 100 students 90-95 students get placement. Specifically in B.tech , the highest salary package was 64lac per annum. In management it was 21lacs per annum. So, in my point of view its great packages as compare to any other university.
Infrastructure: There is green areas in the university at so my different areas, classroom with a/c, google lab, IMAC lab, moot court, fine art lab, agriculture farmland, space centre, play grounds, and both girls and boys hostel.
